- Originally from the northern United States, I have lived in Florida with my husband since 1988. Through extensive travel, I have had the opportunity to create beautiful garden landscapes in Connecticut, the Carolinas, Nevada, Texas as well as Florida. My gardening philosophy is that practical, real-life solutions that work in the everyday world are key factors in landscape architecture. My passion and knowledge of flora is ever expanding, giving me the expertise of plant suitability to different geographical zones and climates. These designs then become combinatins of beauty and excellence. Flowers and Other Things, Inc. was established in 1984 specializing in landscape design and garden restoration. I especially love a challenge...which is always met with professionalism and enthusiasm. Another love is sharing my knowledge and enthusiasm with others through various workshops and speaking engagements.
